Foam
Constituents |
|
| |
|
The
major constituents of foam are Poly Propylene
Glycol (PPG), Toulene Di Isocynate (TDI), Metheylene Chloride,
liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO2) or
Freon 11 then
stabilizer Silicone and Catalysts Amine
Stannous Octoate and some additive like
Pigments fire retardant anti Scortch etc are
used in foam. |

Foaming
process |
|
|
| |
|
Foaming
process is a good example of exothermic chemical
blowing agent water, Metheylene or
both, first the blowing reaction occurs and
hence the heat generates this generated heat
used in the polymerization reaction.
Catalyst Amine and Tin balances these
reaction and the stabilizer Silicone
stabilizes it. the additives show there own
properties.
All chemicals through separate streams come
in a mixing chamber in prefixed ratio. In
the start this mixture is in liquid form
after 15-22 seconds they come to foaming
state and than the foam start rising
up. After about two minutes they got
the shape of foam cake. |

Continuous
process |
|
|
| |
|
In
continuous process of max foam technology
through the mixing chamber the mixture
of chemical is poured in a pot named
trough, there it stay for few seconds and
than it comes out from the lip of the pot it
the foaming state on the there dimensional
paper conveyor which drags the paper with
the foam. On the fall plate the foam start
rising slowly and it get the shape of cake
after few seconds as the conveyor runs the
cake go forward and its length increases. At
the end of the plant there is a machine named
block cutter it cuts this lengthy continuous
cake into cake of desired length. |
